New Year Resolutions

The New Year is here which means everyone is beginning to think of ways they can become a better version of themselves throughout the next 365 days. Personally, I am not a gal who likes to set one large resolution. Instead, I believe when a goal comes to mind you should pursue it at a time best suited for you! I tend to focus on several smaller goals throughout a year rather than one big goal I may lose sight of.
When I set a new goal, I make sure it is SMART. A SMART goal is one that is specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time bound. I focus on completing several smaller goals with the intent of it bringing me closer to the achievement of a larger one.
I have decided to share a list of the goals I will start working on this year. I find it is sometimes helpful to read other individuals goals when forming your own.
My Current Goals:
- Grocery shop and meal prep bi-weekly.
- Make healthier choices when eating out.
- Develop a consistent workout schedule.
- Establish a consistent caloric intake.
- Add $40/month into our travel jar fund.
- Set one hour directed towards choreography each week day.
- Daily affirmations and journaling.
- Daily readings on mental health to help further my understanding.
- Set aside one night a week to have a no phones/electronics date with my significant other.
I hope 2021 brings everyone enjoyment and changes for the better! Feel free to share your goals with me in the comments below.
xoxo,
M
